Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with soul, gospel music, and R&B. Her career path has taken her across Broadway to European events and clubs, to even at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was born Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta however, she comes in Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing as well as playing the piano at the church. She attended Spellman College and began to master the R&B style of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The single featuring her voice, Stalk You A House 12, was released only in Japan. It has been remixed many times, and it is a mainstay of her live shows. The singer has also provided her voice for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005, she was employed to be the main keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. In 2007, Grammy as well as Tony Awards-winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to be the director of choral for the theatrical production of Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine was later invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
